A reading check

Worked question

A transcription contains [a] and b?. Which is a restored loss, and which is an uncertain reading under the Oracc convention?

Show the analysis

[a] is supplied where the sign is missing; b? says the proposed reading is uncertain. Check the edition key before applying this notation elsewhere.
